Revamped Plotting Page!

*She does have the potential to go dark, which I think I'd like to explore eventually.

Plotting: Moira's Return!
Aug. 21st, 2014 10:51 amSO. Moira is going to be returning to Siren Cove soon, probably this upcoming weekend! She's been away at a hidden, witches' island off the coast of Scotland trying to heal/relax in the aftermath of the cruise, along with her pregnancy. Spoilers: her morning sickness really sucks.
When she returns, she'll be somewhat back to her old-self - more tired, but more emotionally stable than before, and ready to be back home. While on the island, Moira decided to magic her hair a darker color as one of the changes to help her feel better, so I'm updating her icons accordingly. Naturally, she's still a blonde, but she's now a darker blonde. I'll be updating her icons accordingly. (This is basically just my own Haven feelings/personal preference coming through. XD)
When Moira returns, she's going to have a major revelation: she is almost the spitting image of one Viviana Coombs, the witch rumored to be behind the entire curse to begin with. Moira is going to be horrified and that is going to influence how she reacts to her own mother being evil and the rest of it. If anyone one else wants to get involved with this, let me know here! I think it's going to be fun to play through. :D

Back from hiatus!
Jul. 18th, 2014 02:30 pmOkay, I'm back from hiatus, though I still might be in and out. I'm going to wait until after work tonight to get caught up on tags, but yeah. I am back now. With one exception: June is going to be in a Sleeping Beauty-esque enchantment while I figure out an arc for her. I'll post the one shot in her journal once I've posted this. Basically, she flirted with the wrong witch, prompting him to curse her drink and now she's in a "sleeplike death" until I decide to wake her up.
Just a head's up that I'm taking a hiatus from Siren Cove for the time being. It might not be long, it might be a day, hell, but I need a break and I just wanted to give everyone a head's up. Thanks for your patience! I'll still be on twitter if anyone has any questions.
Okay, managed to make my way to a McDonald's, also known as the place closest to me with free wi-fi, so while I'm not tagging or catching up on tags until I can access internet at home, I do want to just quickly post an excuse~ for reasons why my characters are not around this weekend/potentially some of next week. (Our modem broke? So we're waiting for a new one which is why it might be some time before we get internet back at my house, boo.) Anyway, character excuses!
Moira: Ha ha, Moira is still trying to deal with what's going on with her and James, especially over the past weekend, and so, she's a tad bit distracted and prone to keeping to herself more than usual until I get back.
Fabrice: Fabrice has been busy with work and he's also stillmissing Demetri suffering from visions from the night of his attack; some of them are causing migraines keeping him from getting out of bed, and so he's being a homebody more than usual this weekend. When I get internet back, I want to do a happy zoo animals post with him because yeah.
Arthur: Brooding. Literally, that's it. LOL.
Cosette: Spending quality time with her Aunt Jasmine doing fun things, like hanging out in the park.
June: Sleeping with all of her brothers' friends. No, actually. Volunteering for some charitable organization in the boonies of Maine. She hates it. A lot. Expect a lot of moaning when she returns.
I miss everyone terribly and I hate not being able to post/tag/tag-in/etc. I hope you're all doing wonderfully well! Unplanned/unwanted hiatus' are the worst. :(

OOC: Religious beliefs
May. 12th, 2014 06:41 amOkay, so, I was thinking on Moira's character and I have decided that, religiously, she is Catholic. She was raised in the religion, and while she once struggled with it in her youth, she currently is a believer, so to speak. She doesn't always attend church, but she likes to, because it provides her with a calm space to collect her thoughts and she really likes hymns. No, she's not turning into a nun, but characters will notice that she does go to church, prays, and occasionally volunteers for church functions. I just wanted to further flesh out her character and thought it'd be interesting to play a bisexual, Catholic witch. If you have any plots/ideas regarding Moira's religious beliefs, please let me know! :)

Moira's cottage by the sea, a cozy, romantic little nook protected on the outside with charms to ward off evil, robbers, lurkers, what have you. Moira's home represents her independence from her family; she loves it dearly and will not hesitate to protect it from harm.
