Prowling through town~ (Open)
Ever since talking with Lou, Moira's concern regarding danger in Siren Cove has increased to the point where she feels obligated to make her rounds in her cat form, determining to find out what she can from the cracks in between people's conversations. She feels a little strange as she performs the transformation spell, though she can't quite explain why. The oddity of the moment passes almost as quickly as it arrives, and soon, Moira is on her paws, meandering through alleys and streets with the ease of a stray cat.
She hears talk, of the usual sort, oh the town curse is returned, Thorntons versus Coombs, etc. She pays no mind to those conversations, having already heard what she needed of them when she was a child. She tunes instead into the whispers about Corrine, questions about how Siren Cove's biggest star could go missing. She pounces onto garbage cans and fire exits, following various conversations until she reaches dead ends.
Regardless, she told Lou she'd help in any way that she could, so she refuses to back down.
OOC: Find Moira anywhere in town, as a cat, lurking and sniffing for clues.

She's now walking into town, texting Les and Val, when she feels a sudden tug on the leash. Glancing back with a "Ya, Flavia, not now. We gotta get home," she finds the cat has gone tense, growling lowly as she starts to follow something that catches her eye. Riley's gut tells her to pick up the cat and rush home, but as soon as she reaches down for her, Flavia pounces, breaking clear off the leash and chasing after something down an alley.
"Flavia!" Riley calls, running after her. She chases the cat into the alley and stops when she finds Flavia, tail frizzed, stalking a white cat she easily recognizes as her friend. "Moira? That you?"

"Mew?" Moira jumps down, cautiously, not daring to approach the other cat, who looks on the alert. Luckily, Riley comes up right behind said cat and calls out her name.
"Mew," Moira affirms, giving her a friend a very uncatlike nod.

She looks up and sees a window. "Looking for Corry?" she whispers, careful not to let anyone know where they are.

It's on her way there that she spots the little cat lurking around the streets, crossing between people's legs with eyes that look all too human. She's been watching Moira perfect this charm since they were kids, and she grins, running over to crouch down and scritch the little thing behind the ears.
"You were always so cute like this," she says quietly. She's always been a little jealous of the things Moira can do, the way she works magic so easily, like she was born to.

"Mew?" She glances up, noticing the nervousness written on Amelie's face and wondering if she was on her way to inquire into teaching positions.
