She's managed to pick herself from where the force of the spell knocked her over into the sand, thank God. Though she still has sand in all sorts of uncomfortable places, and she feels as though her stomach is weighed down by lead, she manages to gather up her things and move back a bit from the water. She needs to get to her cottage, she thinks. She wants, more than anything else, to curl up in her own bed and just forget about the world, for the moment.

And then she hears an all-too familiar voice, and she winces. But she turns around, regardless. She's going to have to talk to James soon enough, anyway.

"James?" She calls back. "I'm assuming you're here about the reports of the crazy lady on the beach, and yeah, it's me."
